Hey y’all, I’m Megan – a mama to my sweet girl Ava and the hands behind Upstate Tallow. I started this journey out of a deep love for clean, ancestral living and a desire to create products I could feel good about using on my daughter’s skin—and mine too.

After losing Ava’s dad when she was just a baby, life shifted. It gave me a new appreciation for health, simplicity, and doing things with purpose. That’s when I began learning about the incredible healing power of beef tallow—something our ancestors used long before chemicals filled the shelves.

I handcraft every jar in small batches, with care, honesty, and a whole lot of heart. My mission is simple: to give families safe, nourishing skincare made from real ingredients you can actually pronounce. No fillers. No shortcuts. Just old-fashioned goodness, made with love right here in upstate New York.

Upstate Tallow isn’t just a business—it’s a part of my life, my healing, and the way I’m teaching my daughter that women can build something strong from the ground up.
